If you have read my blogs you know I am a rookie competition brisket cook on team RAD FONDO BBQ. I started cooking brisket in September of 2015 and have been smoking these large lumps of meat almost every weekend ever since, in search of the perfect brisket.
Over time I have scrubbed the web for good information on how to cook brisket and I thought I would share with you some of the videos I found useful and why.
This video by Malcom Reed, of How to BBQ Right is a good place to start and get a feel for the brisket trim.
I found this video very useful when I started as it help create a plan for the trim, it helped me understand the brisket composition and the flat and point sections of the packer.
